Our support

Perhaps there would be no public street workouts, parkour parks and other unusual places, if not for a grassroots initiative. It was the idea, commitment and determination of enthusiasts, activists and future users that created the first zones of urban sports. As one of the most experienced producers of this type of solutions, we have been participating in this positive madness from the very beginning, gaining new experience in cooperation on social projects throughout the country.

Even today, our clients use various types of grants to make their dreams come true, and we are happy to support these grassroots initiatives. Every year there are more and more such projects, which is not surprising, because it is local leaders, athletes and enthusiasts who know best what and where is most needed. For this reason, it is thanks to the bottom-up initiative, taking into account the participation of future users from the very beginning, that the best projects are created. If you have not done it yet, and you also have such an idea on your mind, do not hesitate, contact us!

Below we present some information on where you can find funding for your projects.

Citizen’s budget

In practice, it is a municipal fund, the allocation of which is decided by the inhabitants, who choose themselves what the funds are to be spent on. Ideas of projects and investments are submitted by residents or their groups, councils of districts and estates, local leaders or non-governmental organizations. Throughout Poland, as part of citizen’s budget programs, there are often ideas for the development or renovation of green areas, sports, recreation and playgrounds. Usually, the process of applying for funds begins with the preparation of a proposal - this is the stage in which we can help you, then there is submitted the application, there is obtained the support of residents to eventually vote it on. The implementation of winning projects usually takes place within the next year.

The first participatory budget program was created in Sopot in 2011, currently such solutions are used not only in most large cities but also in many smaller ones. There are over 3,000 local governments in the world.

Crowdfunding and public fundraising

It is a social way to finance various kinds of projects through fundraising. Thanks to this possibility, not only many companies, new products or services were created, but also a lot of Bethoven's compositions, and you probably listen to singles or albums financed in this way. It is an increasingly used formula for non-profit purposes. Thanks to the currently functioning money collection platforms, you can raise funds among your neighbors and the local community.

Are you organizing such a fundraiser? Contact us and talk about the possibility of sharing materials for the promotion of the project.

More and more often, our clients spend the money obtained in this way on the equipment of the space and materials. Gather your colleagues and neighbors for assembly, and we will tell you how to do it properly.

Self-government funds

Cities and boroughs have funds for investments. It is local governments that are responsible for public infrastructure, including creating places for play, sports and recreation. Even if they do not fully finance them, they may have funds to help financially. Probably, if you are the headteacher, a director of a sports center or the manager of a community or village day center?, you already know about it, but any resident can take the initiative. If you have an idea for a street workout or a park in your area, contact the estate council, your village administrator or councilor.

Sports Poland

Sometimes projects can be co-financed by government funds. In the case of recreational and sports infrastructure, most often these are the programs of the Ministry of Sport. If you are the headmaster of a school or run a sports club, it is possible to obtain funding for infrastructure as part of the local sports infrastructure development program - Sportowa Polska, which provides for financial support. As part of the task: Construction, reconstruction or renovation of school sports infrastructure, this program provides for, i.a., co-financing the construction of "outdoor sports equipment ", including gyms and fitness equipment for children. Installations of street workouts, gyms or parkour equipments can also be part of larger investments of publicly accessible sports facilities or their modernization.

Village councils

Rural areas have funds allocated from the borough as part of the village council funds, which may be granted, i.a., on infrastructure. Additional funds can often be obtained from the marshal's offices as grants under bonuses such as "village grants".

European funds

Depending on the given budgetary perspective of the European Union, different types of programs and financing options are available, for example under the Cohesion Fund. The current budget perspective ends this year. Until the end of 2020, there are Regional Operational Programs for each voivodeship, Rural Development Program or funds at the disposal of Local Action Groups. The most difficult part to obtain funding will happen to be in the last year of the budget's functioning, but it is always worth checking whether all funds have already been spent. It is not yet known what programs and funds will be available from next year.

Foundation support

Fun, sports and recreation zones fulfill social and developmental functions. Due to this, such investments as bottom-up initiatives are sometimes supported by various types of foundations. Examples of programs and foundations where you can look for support include: "Act locally" of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation, PERN Group Foundation, TAURON Foundation, Aviva Foundation, PKO Foundation, Auchan Foundation for Youth, LOTTO Foundation im. Halina Konopacka, the PGE Foundation, the Musketeers Foundation.

Social responsibility of business

Just because a company doesn't run its own foundation doesn't mean it can't support your project. More and more enterprises, especially large and medium-sized ones, have a policy of social responsibility. Sometimes, as part of CSR, there are created nationwide programs and social campaigns, such as "Nivea Talent Yard". Social support for companies is most often addressed to the local community in which the company operates. If there is a medium or large company in your area, be sure to check if it can sponsor your idea.
